Description
CRM & Marketing IT area within Santander Bank is responsible to maintain, support and enhance a set of of batch and online applications in its portfolio. This role is for a subject matter expert who develops software programs to meet project schedule and maintains and supports existing software applications, while working to resolve complex issues. The candidate selected will also be responsible for the day-to-day support of the code and the technical upgrades to overcome obsolescence needs in both software and underlaying infrastructure.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Responsible for level 3 support (code support) of CRM applications, either batch (mainly COBOL) or online (mainly Bankspere/Java).
Lead post-implementation validations on technical and infrastructure BAU changes.
Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, unit and component testing
Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
Participates and, in some cases, lead code reviews and root cause analysis.
Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
Collaborates with other team members to achieve quality and consistency.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology Management, or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
Core Requirements:
Extensive hand-on experience on programming languages: COBOL, Informatica Power Center, Java, Unix, SQL. Larger focus on COBOL and Informatica Power Center.
Knowledge of ETL processes and batch scheduling tools (i.e. Control-M)
Demonstrated experience in handling Production incidents and response in similar critical environments
Ability to maintain and implement best practices within field
Must possess problem-solving and creative thinking ability
Self-motivated and action oriented
Ability to interface with technical teams and key stakeholders
To Have:
Banksphere experience would be a great selling point
Experience on Event-based solutions
Experience on CRM systems and/or Data analytics
Analytical capabilities.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation
Willingness to collaborate with the other team members
