Project Manager IT

Description

Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.

Must Haves:

- 5+ years of experience

- Project management skills

- Technical teams coordination experience

- Solid experience on automation process with Ansible

- Experience in Ansible, GIT, Jenkins, and Rundeck

- Experience with shell scripting, Windows scripting, or Power shell scripting

- Bilingual in both Spanish/English (advanced level English)

Exceptional ability to manage projects and priorities. Demonstrable Skills for coordination on Technical Calls with the technical teams. Troubleshooting sessions, Work sessions and project team meetings.

Project plan preparation from high level to technical details level, plan and estimate milestones/activities (effort/duration) and identify role/skills set per activity (system, OS, middleware)

  Infrastructure projects management experience (Automation, monitoring, servers delivery)

o Software projects management experience is a plus (to understand SLDC and products lifecycle)

 Exceptional ability to communicate technical decisions/issues to different stakeholders

PMP trained/certified

Strong organization skills (document, log and track actions, issues)

Technical background is a plus (system engineer, IT operations)

Experience working in a company based on ITIL environment (Change management, incident management, service management.)
