Cloud Monitoring and Observability Engineer

Description

This role involves being part of the L2 team responsible for Landing Zone, infrastructure, and application monitoring. The primary responsibilities include configuring and updating instances with the Active Gate agent, managing Dynatrace configurations, and transmitting data to ALMA. The team utilizes observability tools like Dynatrace and ActiveGate , as well as various logging configurations such as AWS VPC FlowLog , AWS Config, GardDuty , CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.

Monitoring and Configuration:

Configure and update instances with the Active Gate agent for application and infrastructure monitoring.

Manage Dynatrace configurations and ensure data transmission to ALMA.

Technologies/Tools Utilized:

Observability tools: Dynatrace, ActiveGate , EC2.

Logging configurations: AWS VPC FlowLog , AWS Config, GardDuty , CloudTrail, CloudWatch.

10+ years of overall industry experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS.

Experience with AWS Observability services.

Experience with Observability tools such as Dynatrace or DataDog (open to other similar tools).

Experience provisioning resources in AWS with CloudFormation.

Familiarity with Cloudwatch , Cloudtrail
